tips before travelling

What should we do before travelling?
1. Confirm our vacation reservation- we need to call few times and write down the numbers also incase the plane, hotel etc is not reserved / late arrival
2. Cancel newspaper delivery/milk
3. Credit Card/Check/Cash.. bring them..cash not so much to bring. It's useful if we bring USD because it can be accepted anywhere in the world. Emergency number in case the credit card was stolen
4. Currency ..bring small amount of money of that country
5. Consider large/heavy bags...bring as light as possible. We need to handle our kids remember!
6. Check the weather...
7. Call the airline the time of departure
8. Camera /Video ..the battery is enough for us to capture our memory
9. Carry small stationary and a t-shirt and jeans for each of our member in case bags get delayed.
10. MAP - very important esp when we are driving
